TransOeste - BRT

An implantation of the modern transport system through the exclusive BRT corridor, connecting Barra da Tijuca to Santa Cruz and Campo Grande.

About the Work

Transoeste is the first corridor in operation at Rio’s city. Its first phase was inaugurated in 2012, with the path that used to connect Barra da Tijuca to Santa Cruz’s neighborhood, at Zona Oeste. After, an ampliation of the route came to Campo Grande and Paciência. In august 2016, Lote Zero was implemented, which one BRT intagretes together with the subway’s line 4, at Jardim Oceânico terminal.
